Jurassic World

Starring everybody's favorite lovable actor, Chris Pratt, Jurassic World has some many great things about it, along with just as many negatives about it. World does what the previous films promised in making a working and successful park with real life dinosaurs in them and what it looks like. It uses some really great meta humor in that after years of being opened, audiences have gotten tired of seeing the same things every time so something new and bigger is developed to bring more people in, much like what this movie is doing. The problems however come from the writing which can come of as very sexist at times as well as how it uses the meta humor too much to make references to the first film nearly every few minutes and at times doesn't offer anything new. The effects of the dinosaurs look perfectly well done, though since some CGI was used to cover animatronic dinosaurs it can be a little off-putting. Over all: 84%
