Strange Magic is a very beautiful looking film with CGI that looks
breathtaking and characters that one can relate to. Even though the
story has been told before numerous times, the way it tells it is very
unique. However, some problems do bog the film, such as how some songs
ends and another immediately pops up without warning, and many songs
being repeated. Over all: 70%

After Heroes first episode
1 EXT. HIGHWAY-PRESENT 1
ON A LARGE HIGHWAY, AS the road going out of the city is full, the road going into the city is more free of cars. That is until an armored truck drives through as it's escaping police cars chasing it.
He soon runs right into GOLDEN LIONESS, also known as Maggie Scott, a shorter woman dressed in a yellow suit and an orange mask with a golden necklace around her neck. A golden aura surrounds her body.
2 EXT. ROOFTOP-A MOMENT LATER 2
Lioness lands on the rooftop of the building she jumped to. There, Lioness sees HUMAN MOON, real name Zachariah Winston River, and his robotic aid, ONSERV in the middle of the roof.
GOLDEN LIONESS CHASES AFTER the thief. Lioness is careful in trying not to hit anything as she chases him.

DISPATCHER (O.S.)
All units be advised the armored vehicle has criminals who recently robbed a bank with flame throwers. Caution should be taken.
The armored truck enters the city, going through a barricade. One of the CRIMINALS opens the back of the truck.
CRIMINAL
Eat your charred remains, cops!
The criminal activates the flamethrower causing some of the cop cars right behind the truck to fall back.
CRIMINAL (CONT’D)
(Exited)
Long live Los Criminales del Diablo!
As the getaway driver continues to ram through the city, a bright light blinds him causing the truck to turn over and end up on its side. With his accomplices knocked out, the criminal with the flame thrower gets out.He soon runs right into GOLDEN LIONESS, also known as Maggie Scott, a shorter woman dressed in a yellow suit and an orange mask with a golden necklace around her neck. A golden aura surrounds her body.
CRIMINAL (CONT’D)
(Angry)
Get out of my way you amateur frea---
Lioness’s fists have a brighter glow around them and immediately punches the criminal, slamming into the truck. Getting up, the criminal aims the flame thrower at her.
CRIMINAL (CONT’D)
Eat your---
GOLDEN LIONESS
(Unimpressed)
Charred remains? I’ve heard better.
The criminal fires the flames, Lioness dodges, and destroys the weapon with a golden blast before she knocks him out. The cops chasing the criminals soon arrive on the scene. One COP exits the vehicle.
COP
(Annoyed)
You know you could have arrived much earlier, Golden Lioness.
GOLDEN LIONESS
Yeah, well... You’re welcome.
The Golden Lioness’s feet glow and she leaps into the air towards a nearby building.2 EXT. ROOFTOP-A MOMENT LATER 2

Come on! I was trying to figure out the right angle in which to come in.
ONSERV
(Sarcastic)
Oh, yes! Because looking good is very important, miss.
GOLDEN LIONESS
I mean, no one got seriously hurt. I'm sure that when you started out as Human Moon you liked to do impressive entrances. Am I wrong, Zach?
HUMAN MOON
It's Zachariah. Right now, though, it’s Human Moon. And yeah, I did.
GOLDEN LIONESS
See.
HUMAN MOON
Though that was a long time ago. I was younger than you at the time and I learned right away. As you and my other students will. It’s no excuse for you to do what you did. In my day when lives are at stake, you don't worry how to look good.
GOLDEN LIONESS
(Uninterested)
I'll keep that in mind. (Beat) But what about Blue Storm? He practically brought down a whole building last week.
Onserv makes a large crowd applauding noise.
ONSERV
(Sarcastic)
Someone’s been reading Wikipedia.
HUMAN MOON
Yes, just like I told him.
GOLDEN LIONESS
(Confused)
To destroy a building?
HUMAN MOON
Blue assessed the situation, made sure no civilians were in the way, and took it down carefully.
GOLDEN LIONESS
But he destroyed a building.
HUMAN MOON
Well, it was either that or let the city be overrun by robotic dinosaurs.
GOLDEN LIONESS
Ah.
HUMAN MOON
Besides, There were a lot other mistakes you made, Maggie.
Lioness gives her mentor a stern look.
ONSERV
(Sarcastic)
Oh, I think she’s starting to understand, sir.
HUMAN MOON
Instead of causing the truck to overturn just stop it, don't anger the bad guys too much they’re already full of adrenaline, never end your time with cops in animosity as they will be your al---
GOLDEN LIONESS
(Annoyed)
But at least I stopped them.
HUMAN MOON
Well it’s that kind of attitude that will keep you from fighting alongside anyone else.
GOLDEN LIONESS
What’s wrong with that?
ONSERV
(Sarcastic)
Great question to ask, miss.
Human Moon looks at Golden Lioness with a serious look in his eyes.
HUMAN MOON
It’s fighting alongside others that makes the difference between being down there and being up here. Trust me.
Lioness is about to say something but instead keeps quiet.
ONSERV
Well spoken, sir.
Moon and Lioness look down at the street and spot a THIEF stealing a woman’s purse.
GOLDEN LIONESS
How about I do something smaller? Do you trust me with this?
HUMAN MOON
Do you trust yourself?
Lioness jumps down after the thief.
ONSERV
Out of all your students, why focus on her the most, sir?
Moon breathes in deeply.
HUMAN MOON
I was a lot like her in my early days.
CUT TO
3 EXT. STREET-SAME TIME 3GOLDEN LIONESS CHASES AFTER the thief. Lioness is careful in trying not to hit anything as she chases him.
GOLDEN LIONESS
(Yelling)
Get back here!
The thief runs into a dark alleyway. Lioness arrives at the entrance and goes in. She uses her bright aura to light up the darkness.
GOLDEN LIONESS (CONT’D)
(Annoyed)
Where are you, you little waste. I gotta prove myself here.
Lioness finds the thief standing in the corner facing the wall.
GOLDEN LIONESS (CONT’D)
Get your hands up! You’re going to return---
THIEF
(Demonic voice)
As the girl runs around, the whole world runs aground.
The thief turns around to reveal glowing blue eyes.
GOLDEN LIONESS
I don’t care if you like Robert Frost.
THIEF
(Demonic voice)
Such bravery. He has chosen well.
The thief blends into the shadow and disappears. As Lioness starts to walk away, the alleyway is suddenly bathed in light and revealed to be filled with dozens of timed explosives all counting down from :05.

3 of my favorite comedy films
Comedy, when people do things to make people laugh. Comedy movies, when
filmmakers do the craziest things to entertain the audience and make
them laugh themselves to the point of peeing their pants. Comedy has
always been a part of the world since the early days of civilization.
Comedy movies have been around since films started. This is a look at
three of my favorite comedy films and how they compare to each other.
My first comedy film is the 2011 film that won Best Picture, The Artist. The 2011 French romantic comedy-drama is an homage of silent films from when they first started all the way to the late 1920s when sound was introduced, as the film itself is black-and-white and silent. It's all about a successful silent film actor, played by Jean Dujardin who won an Oscar for the role, who refuses to switch to sound films even when every other studio does and struggles in a changed world, while also falling in love with a young actress, played by Oscar nominated Berenice Bejo, who is succeeding in the sound era. In the end, Dujardin's character finally decides to act in sound films with him saying one of the last few words in a thick French accent as they work in a scene together. The film was an absolute joy to watch as it was an homage to the films of the past and showcasing what many actors of the time struggled with.
My second film is the Charlie Chaplin classic, and the last silent film he worked on, Modern Times from 1936. According to IMDB.com, Charlie made the film with some sound added as a metaphor for both the changing in films to sound and the increase of industrialization during The Depression. In the film, Chaplin's character, the Little Tramp, is at first working on a assembly line but is soon fired for causing trouble and goes to various places for jobs which is hard to find while also meeting a young orphaned young woman who he falls in love with. All throughout the film, the Tramp gets various jobs, gets sent to jail more than once, and has a good time with the girl, until he works at a cafe as a singer who when he sings is the first time he's heard but it's all gibberish although it's praised. At the end of the film, the Tramp and the woman escape the police who are there to arrest the woman and when they're in the middle of a road walking down it to an uncertain but hopeful future. Modern Times was both hilarious and very moving at the same time, especially as it shows the full effects of The Depression, which Chaplin could relate as he grew up in poverty.
For my last comedy film, I choose another 2011 film that was also nominated for Best Picture, Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris. It's a romantic comedy fantasy that's set in Paris, France and taking place both in the present, or rather in 2011, and the 1920s. Midnight in Paris is all about a successful but creatively unfulfilled screenwriter, played by Owen Wilson, vacationing in Paris with his fiance and her parents. Wilson's character, Gil Pender, enjoys Paris, especially in the rain, that he'd like to move there when he's married. It gets more fantastic as every time Gil is alone in the streets at midnight a 1920s car arrives and takes him to Paris in the '20s where he meets various famous 1920s artists that he idolizes, like Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and others. There he learns how to be more passionate about his work while also falling in love with the 1920s but realizes he has to stay in his own time as nostalgia he loves a lot but the present is his home. Even though Gil and his fiance break up, Gil decides to stay in Paris and falls in love with a woman who has the same love for the Lost Generation as he does and as well for the rain in Paris. The film was both funny and, as the film is all about, nostalgic as it looks at what many artists where like in the 1920s. It's a film that perfectly captures the love of art from both the past and the present while also making you laugh at the artists behind them.

The three films are all about how times change and how that change affects the entire world with it. All of them are metaphors for how art changes over time both in the movie and outside of it. The Artist and Modern Times are silent films made at a time when they're not made anymore, with the first showing the rise of sound and the fall of silent while the second was a metaphor of how new technology, like sound, was changing the world and how Charlie Chaplin learned to accept sound and have his character speak near the end for the first time ever. The similarity between The Artist and Midnight in Paris is that they're both about nostalgia as it deals with the love of art all the way back from the 1920s with the first one an homage to silent films going to sound and the other about the love of art and the people who made them back then, whether by novels, movies, paintings, or other things. The Godfather trilogy
Three films, which were released in 1972, '74, and '90, became one of
the most loved and acclaimed films series of all time. These three films
are The Godfather, The Godfather Part 2, and The Godfather Part 3, from the Godfather Trilogy.
The crime drama films were all directed by Francis Ford Coppola, who
won Oscars for the screenplay with Mario Puzo for the first two films,
Best Director for Coppola for the second, and Best Picture for the first
two. All three films were written by Coppola and Mario Puzo, who wrote
the novel of which the first two films are based on and the original The Godfather Part 3 with Coppola.
All three dealt with the saga of the Mafia Corleone family from 1901 to 1980, starting with Don Vito Corleone. Vito was played by Marlon Brando in Part 1, and he won his second Leading Actor Oscar for the role. Robert De Niro also played him in flashbacks in the second, and he won his first of two Oscars, this one for a Supporting Role Oscar. Most of Part 1 is Vito as the head of the family until he dies near the end which leaves his son Michael, played by Al Pacino, who was nominated in the first two, as the head of the Corleone crime family.
Actors included in the series are James Caan in his only Oscar nominated role in Part 1 as Sonny, one of Vito's sons, and in Part 2 in a flashback at the end, Talia Shire (Coppola's sister) as Connie who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for Part 2, and Robert Duvall, as Tom Hagen, who was nominated for Part 1. Others include Andy Garcia in Part 3 as the son of Sonny from an affair, in his only Oscar nominated role, and Diane Keaton as Kay Adams, who was Michael's wife in the first two and ex-wife in the third. Brando and De Niro's win for playing Don Vito Corleone is one of the few times that two different actors won Oscars for the same role.
There are many memorable things about the Godfather films, one of them being that Part 2 was the first sequel to win Best Picture. As all three films were nominated for Best Picture, it is only one of two trilogies, with the other being the Lord of the Rings trilogy, where all three films were nominated for Best Picture. Each of the films had memorable lines like "It's nothing personal, just business" or "I'll give him an offer he can't refuse." Another is that when Brando won his Oscar he didn't show up since he instead boycotted it and had a Native American actress and activist appear and tell why he didn't appear, mostly because of the way Hollywood treated Native Americans. For these reasons above all is why the three Godfather films are one of the best films ever made in Hollywood.
