The Alien Invasion: Their View

Daniel Brizuela                                                                                                                               2/3/12

                                                      The Alien Invasion: Their View.

On August 29, 2016, an army of aliens arrived at Earth, planning to take over. Normally, stories like this would center on the government and how they plan to defeat them and somehow it’s America that beats them and thanks to someone no one knew arriving at the last minute. However, this is not this story; this story is from the invader’s point of view.

Inside one of the alien battleships, whose species are the Jyklims and are humanoid except that they have protective exoskeleton on their shoulders, two young Jyklims were dancing to some unknown alien music. The two aliens were drinking some sort of pink liquid that made them seem drunk.
“That was totally mogp,” said one of the teen Jyklims.
“Yeah it was, Nurt!” said the second.
“You know what we should do, Kup?” asked Nurt.
    “What?”
“We should like,” he began before drinking again, “take over this ship. It’s I’ll be totally Mogp. We could just destroy that little planet filled with those jelly bags, instead of just what everyone is doing and going slow.”
“Oh, Yeah, I mean why not? No one’s in the bridge right now. It’ll be that easy.”

When they entered the bridge they decided to take out some sort of small tube and lit it on fire. They then ate the tube and started acting even more crazy, like they were on drugs.
Nurt started touching every button he saw, which made the ship fire at New Myanmar. Kup, who after noticing what looks like human made rocket ships with nuclear bombs strapped on, they both laughed.
Just as all of those bombs exploded, which wouldn’t affect the alien ships, Kup pushed the self destruct button for the whole Jyklim army thinking it was for the Earth. All of the alien ships were destroyed, and everyone on Earth thinking that their bombs worked felt safe again.

A Clown and a Robot short story

Daniel Brizuela                                                          5/12/11
                                                                     A Clown and a Robot.

It’s the year 2089, and the world has been pretty much destroyed by atomic bombs, wars, and other violence. Most of humanity has been pretty much destroyed all over the planet, along with most of wildlife and nature.
There are only a few human beings remaining in this post-Armageddon and those humans have made personal robots for themselves to take care of them. This story is focused on one particular robot named Nist99, made by a former successful Hollywood director. When his master dies, Nist99 searches for a new master to take care of and not feel as lonely as he is right now.
He searches day and night; he searched for three years to look for the perfect master, until finally he arrived at what was left of Salem, Oregon. There he found and met a kindly old clown who took him in and took care of him and then Nist99 took care of the clown in return.
The old clown worked at a circus full of people who still believe they can bring laughter and happiness to what’s left of the world. It was rare for them to have more than twenty people come in a week, let alone five people attending a day.
Usually on days, or even weeks, when no one comes, the robot and the clown travel through the state, visiting places, learning of the past, and other things. It was in Central Point where Nist99 learned that his creator was born and raised in this city when he was younger. Nist99 felt very at home whenever he was at this town-like the town itself was calling for him every time he was there.
Twelve years later, the clown, who Nist99 later learned was named Jim You, sadly died from a heart attack in his sleep. The robot was alone again and decided to once again search for another person to take care of and to take care of him. Nist99 searched and searched for years, he sometimes found someone but never permanently, so he continued to search, all until he could search no more.

                                                                          Plain poem.

Just when the plane lands,

Greet your visiting family with a clap of your hands.

The family is soon coming,

They’ll arrive in the morning.

In Thanksgiving we thanks,

Lets us see how this year ranks.

Someday there will be peace,

Especially for my new niece!

Later we’ll eat,

As making it was such a feat.

Jack’s face looks all worried and scared.

CUT TO EXTREME CLOSE UP OF JACK’S EYES LOOKING AROUND

Jack once again shrugs off the noises as probably nothing and decides to sit down calmly on one of the green chairs.

CUT TO WIDE SHOT OF JACK SITTING IN THE PARK

Jack looks at his watch when suddenly he hears a woman screaming as if being attacked.

CUT TO CLOSE UP OF JACK

After he heard the scream Jack decides that maybe he’s just hearing things. That it’s all in his head.

CUT TO JACK WALKING THROUGH THE PARK

Jack is enjoying his walk, admiring the scenery, when, once again, he hears what he believes is cars crashing against one another. This one sounds like it’s right next to him.

CUT TO JACK’S POINT OF VIEW

Jack started to look all around but could not find any cars in a collision. By now Jack was starting to question his own sanity.

    CUT TO WIDE SHOT

Just as he was starting to calm down, Jack began to hear more and more noises that no one else was hearing. Either, he was going insane or somehow he was hearing something that was far away.

Everywhere he went, Jack keeps hearing the noises, whether it’s people screaming, cars crashing, gun shots, or strange noises that don’t make sense.

CUT TO EXTREME CLOSE UP OF JACK’S FACE

Jack was all sweaty and completely freaked out as everywhere he goes he hears  these noises.

    CLOSE UP OF DOOR

    CUT TO INSIDE OF ROOM

JACK IS SITTING ON the floor of a mostly white room with only one window and one chair. He is wearing what seems to be a straitjacket in order to keep him safe and not harm himself.

CUT TO DIFFERENT SHOTS INSIDE ROOM

Constant laughter is now being heard and it is unknown where it’s coming from. At first Jack doesn’t respond to this laughter but after a while he soon joins in.

    FADE OUT
