Zootopia

One thing that one would never suspect in a Disney animated film is themes dealing with both prejudice and racism. Zootopia, the 55th film in the Animated Classics series, is not only an animated comedy but also a neo-noir drama dealing with a anthropomorphic society of all kinds of mammals all living together wherein both predators and prey coexist without problems though untrustworthy of each other. Ginnifer Goodwin voices a rabbit named Judy who becomes the city of Zootopia's first rabbit police officer who has 48 hours to solve the case of various missing mammals with the help of a sly fox voiced by Jason Bateman. The film is definitely one of the best films that Disney has ever made, especially among their animated lineup, though Frozen is still better. It has clever writing, great voice acting, amazing visuals, funny jokes and moments that you would never expect-including a Breaking Bad reference, a great story, and very surprising dark moments that relate to the themes of prejudice and racism. Over all: 100%
Top list so far:
