Avengers: Age of Ultron

As the sequel to one of the greatest superhero films ever made, Avengers: Age of Ultron had a lot to live up to. Though I feel that's one of the biggest problems with films today, with expecting way too much just because a previous film was just so great. Does one expect every issue of a comic, or episode of a show, to continually be as great as the next? And if not, then does that mean they didn't try hard enough and thus be ridicules for it? That may be asking for too much. But still, Age of Ultron is a noteworthy followup that has the team already fighting together instead of waiting 'till the end to have them together. It's fun and memorable, though it still has some problems and flaws here and there such as some of the pacing can be a little off at times. Another problem is that near the end the Hulk disappears for about 5 minutes during the final battle and then reappears in the middle of it. One great thing about this film is James Spader's magnificent and terrifying performance as the title character, giving it both a serious dread and comic timing. Over all: 98%
